Therapists, ool counselors, social workers, and psychologists play a pivotal role in nurturing the academic, emotional, and social development of children. Our email signatures can be a subtle yet powerful tool to convey messages of encouragement, resilience, and support to our clients and students.
I love words and so I love to collect quotes. This blog post will cover quotes that school counselors and other educators will want to use for email signature quotes! I have included well over 100 quotes that are perfect for email signatures for school adjustment counselors, school psychologists, school counselors, school social workers, and other educators.
These email signature quotes cover topics including kindness, children, resilience and perseverance, encouragement and motivation, grit and growth mindset, empathy and support, mindfulness and presence, positive thinking, hope and optimism, relationships, diversity and inclusion, self-care, and teaching.
Choosing an email signature quote that resonates with your values and mission as a school counselor can serve as a daily reminder of your commitment to supporting every student's journey. These quotes not only reflect your dedication but also offer a moment of reflection and inspiration to anyone reading your emails. You might even think about changing up your email signature quotes monthly or seasonally.
I’ve also included these adorable free canva templates so you can create your own personal email signatures with a quote that you choose! I started using these recently and it makes me so happy when I open up an email! The quote I have right now is “if speaking kindly to plants helps them grow, imagine what speaking kindly to humans can do.”
To get these free email signature templates, just subscribe here or at the top of this page to my free resource library and email list. I suggest using a personal email address. You'll need a canva account, but no worries because you can create a free canva education account.
If you are already a subscriber, just head over to the free SEL resource library. You can grab these templates and personalize them today!
You'll want to check in with your district's policies to make sure you are allowed to include a quote in your email signature. You should also have a statement about confidentiality at the end of your email as well. For example, my confidentiality statement says "This is not a public document. The substance of this message, along with any attachments, may be confidential and legally privileged. If you are not the designated recipient of the message, please destroy it and notify the sender of the error by return e-mail."
Once you have customized your email signature with my free templates, download them and you can upload into your email signature from whomever your email provider is. Here are directions for outlook and gmail. If you use another email service provider, just go to help and type in "email signature" and follow the directions. Here is a video I made to show you how easy it is to customize these templates with a free canva for education account!
