Engage kids with structure AND fun while working on self-control in your lunch bunch groups with this digital and print social-emotional learning activity! This set includes a leopard self-control directed drawing activity plus 6 printable lunch bunch placemat worksheets all focused on impulse control.

The directed drawing SEL activity has kids answering 9 self-control themed prompts to unlock the steps to complete a drawing of a leopard.

You’ll also get an editable edition of the directed drawing to write your own prompts or questions for ANY subject!

The lunch bunch placemat worksheets come in a color version and a black and white version which is perfect for coloring! You'll also get a Google Slides edition with 18 colorful slides. There are 6 "seek and find" slides included on the digital version. You can project these onto a smartboard for your students to solve while they're waiting for their friends to get their lunches.

These SEL printable worksheets and the directed drawing are no-prep activities and include social-emotional learning prompts. Each day includes a check-in for how the child is feeling with a stretch of the day. Other SEL prompts focus on self-control including:

Self-Control Skills: ✨
✔ Using your social filter (when to say a thought out loud and when to keep it in your head)
✔ Staying on topic
✔ Self-control or poor control scenarios
✔ True or false prompts about impulse control
✔ Finish the sentence prompts

Social-Emotional Learning and Fun Prompts: ✨
➜ Fun facts
➜ Spot two differences
➜ Stretch of the day
➜ Identify how you are feeling
➜ Creative activities to draw your feelings or finish the picture
➜ Dot to dot and mazes
➜ Positive affirmations for self-esteem

You get 6 printable pages focused on self-control, PLUS a digital version!

These printables are versatile and not just for lunch bunches! They can also be used in small social skills groups, or in individual counseling sessions, as a tier-2 or tier-3 intervention, and more!

This fun social skills activity is meant to be used with grownups and children together to spark engaging conversations. These placemats are not meant for children to use independently (as there are discussion prompts without room to write the answers.)

Some teachers even like to laminate them to reuse with dry-erase markers.

The Answer It, See It, Draw It activity and lunch bunch placemats use Google Slides with a PDF to access it.

Social-emotional competencies addressed include feelings identification, self-awareness, self-esteem, self-management, social awareness, and responsible decision-making.
